Scrunchie Cocktail Nights In

Scrunchie Cocktail Nights In
Nothing beats hanging with your best girls, dancing the workweek away and just chatting about the most bazaar scenarios. These nights are always the best workouts! Seriously the abs are tight AF the next day from all those laughs!

But with the current changes we're at home. But good news... we can still recreate these times together but maybe via zoom this time. ;)

So we’ve got together some key QS cocktails, to just boost your Zoom / indoor Girls Night!

Whether it’s alcohol infused or alcohol free, we’ve got your covered Queen:
3 limes
1 lemon
4 ounces of white tequila
1.5 ounces of Cointreau
3 dashes of soda water
1 cup of Boysenberries (but can also try other berries)
3 chilled glasses
: Take berries and mash up with a fork. Slice up lemon and lime.
Line rim of glasses with lemon & move the circle of the glass around in the mashed berries.
Fill glasses with ice. In a martini shaker, mix blanco tequila, Cointreau, squeezed lime & lemon. Strain contents over ice in prepared glasses. Add a berries & sliced lemon for garnish & splash soda water over each margarita.
Add soda water after you’ve shaken, cause it can blow up the shaker.
Annddd then serve Queen!
2 ounces gin
3/4 ounces fresh squeezed lime juice
1/2 ounce ginger syrup [ DIY recipe below ]
Ginger beer [ to taste ]
8 fresh mint leaves
Instructions: add mint leaves, ginger syrup, & lime juice to a mixing glass. Muddle until mint aroma is released. Add gin & ice. Shake until cold. Strain into an ice-filled glass. Add ginger beer and don’t forget to garnish with fresh mint.
1 cup granulated sugar
¾ cups of water
1/3 cup of lemon peel strips (usually we use about 2 lemons)
1 cup fresh lemon squeeze (usually about 4 lemons)
½ fresh strawberry puree
½ fresh raspberry puree
2 cups of water of club soda
Instructions: Add water and sugar in medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to simmer and whisk until sugar is dissolved. Add lemon peel strips to saucepan and cook for 5 minutes until mixture is reduced to half. Set aside to cool.
Pour lemon syrup through a sieve into a pitcher, followed by the lemon juice, strawberry & raspberry puree. You may need a spatula to stir the liquids through. Chill in the refrigerator until cold. And serve with desired amount of water, club soda and don’t forget those ice cubes!

I made the Pink Lemonade and I love it!! So simple to make and I’m going to try making it with blueberries next time, just to see what it’s like

I love the Berry Marg. I made it last night, after having to be stuck at home during this virus situation. Made life much nicer being inside and playing board games. Thanks Queens
